Hi Scott, Just wanted to say I am back from my trip to Roma and what a memorable trip it was! Pope Francis passed away while I was there and I was blessed to be on the square as the cardinals escorted his coffin to St Peters, immediately after that I got in line for when they opened for viewing and after one hour in line I was inside and able to view him lying in state. To say I was beyond moved is to put it lightly. I also just want to say purchasing your Roma Guide was the best decision I made. Between having that handy on my phone and watching your videos before my trip, what a difference. This was my 4th trip but by far the best. Thanks so much.

I'm from the U.S. I won’t go to Rome until January, but I would like to tell you how helpful Scott's Rome Travel Guida is now. Since this is my first trip to Europe and I will travel alone as a female, I have lots of anxiety and started to plan this trip almost one year ago. I have watched countless Youtube videos and I found that Scott's videos are one of the most helpful ones. In the beginning, I worried about transportation, directions, safety and where to eat. His videos are very clear, very informative and very practical. After watching his videos, I felt much better. Then I subscribed to his Rome Travel Guida. It has not only all his videos, but also the interactive google maps that can take you to all the attractions and places to eat directly. Now I feel so much more confident to take this long trip.

I went to Rome at the end of April 2026 and I can't thank you enough for all your videos I had watched to plan my trip. Everything was perfect, despite it being a high season. I got to see most things I wanted to see without major crowds. I didn't have to queue up for anything. I went to see the most popular sights early in the morning and less popular in the afternoons (most of them are in this guide). Rome is mind blowing, probably the most exciting city I've been to. Everything is possible with a bit of planning and I am so grateful to your chanel that helped me with that! P. S. My wife and I recently returned to the US from a trip to Italy where we visited Venice, Florence and Rome. Although we only had approx. 2.5 days in Rome, I wanted to reach out to let you know that your Rome Travel Guida, YouTube videos, etc were very helpful in getting the most out of our short time in Rome.
Here are a few things that were very helpful:
- After arriving at the Termini station, some guys standing by the taxi line asked if we were looking for a taxi. Although I had first thought that they were taxi drivers who got out of their cars to talk while waiting for passengers, I quickly learned that there were trying to trick unsophisticated travelers since they said it would cost approx. 48-58 Euros (cash only) to get us to our hotel which was only a block or two away from the Spanish steps. Since I had already looked up taxi rates as recommended on the Free Now app, I knew it shouldn't cost more than approx. 20 euros. We sussequently found the true citi taxi drivers and were only charged approx. $18 euros to get to our hotel.
- Due to taxi rates running approx. $15-$25 euros (1-way), we were able to save a lot of money by using the metro system. We utilized the tap and go, switched lines when necessary (A to B, etc) and were only charged $10 euros per person for the 2.5 days that we spent going to various places around Rome using the metro. There is no way I would have been able to figure out the metro system (A vs B line, north/south directions, etc) w/out the help of your videos. Additionally, we didn't have any problems w/ pickpockets since I had purchased a PacSafe backpack, left our passports at the hotel and carried money and credit cards on pouches around our necks/under our jackets.
- The food establishment info on your Guida was helpful avoiding the tourist trap spots. We enjoyed pasta at La Nuova Piazzetta, margarita pizza at Mariuccia and PizzaRe`77, gelato at S.M. Maggiore and tiramisu at two sizes. All of those places ended up being great suggestions.
There were alot of other items that were very helpful (umbrella, powerbank, etc) as listed in your videos......... but I don't want to ramble on for too long taking up too much of your time w/ this email. Thanks again for the time and effort you have spent on your videos, travel guide, etc. It definitely helped our short time in Rome to be as enjoyable as possible, and go more smoothly/efficiently than it would w/out having the info that you provided.

BEST VID EVER!!! Thank you SO much! We had a booking at the Sistine Chapel at 12:30 pm. We docked at the port, were first off the boat per your instructions, caught the taxi, then the train - deviated slightly (due to our booking) and went all the way to the main station, found the metro line and started your tour at the Colosseum using Komoot — it was PERFECT!! We saw all the sites, took amazing pics, we even tried the “Jewish pizza” (not a fan) & Pisa M’Po (HUGE fans!!!)… it was 38 degrees out & yet we made it all in good time - including the guided tour of the Sistine Chapel and back to the boat with more than an hour to spare. Thank you! Thank you!! Not just for your great advice but also for taking the time to put it all together so very carefully!! We were absolutely awe-struck by the magic of Rome - all thanks to you!
